would recommend for a city escape
Comfortable room, convenient location, with a delicious breakfast with fresh options that fueled my exploration perfectly after just a 5-minute walk from Hauptbahnhof.
It was perfect.

The location is very convenient because the hotel is only 2 minutes away from the Hauptbahnhof which allows for quick travel to other cities and to Munich airport. There are also services at the Hauptbahnhof such as bike hire, which is a very convenient way to get around the city. The breakfast is excellent, it has everything. The best I've tasted in Munich and it's the 5th time I've been there. The good value for money of the accommodation (Preis-Leistungs-Verhaeltnis). The price offer I paid was below its usual price for the end of July.
The downside is that the hotel did not have any staff who knew Spanish. Although this is not my case because I know German at an intermediate level, it is a language that is difficult for Spanish-speaking clients. Another negative part or to be improved is to be able to have in the hotel of an own rent of bicycles because they would shorten the times that are lost in the disposition and return of bicycles in a rent shop.

this hotel was good choice for exploring munich, liked it and venue's especially helpful and amazingly helpful staff from bar room maids. there was an a nice size room with a lovely design. very good soundproofing, high-speed internet, and a strong wifi were perfect. the location was ideal and decent in a very convenient area, so close to most major sights, bars and restaurant, and the main station/hauptbahnhof.

The glass shower design was unique, but the mattress was too spongy.

The location was excellent. The staff was outstanding. My flight was canceled so I had to shift my reservation. They worked with me on that. I have to say that the shower was excellent. It was a wonder.
The carpet in the room looks a bit dated. There are not enough outlets/electric plugs for a business traveler. The Internet service was not consistent.

Flemings Hotel Munich City was very central just across the road from Central Station - a nice walk of about 20 minutes to Marian Platz. The breakfast was excellent also bar food was really good. Staff were very friendly. Enjoyed the large glass shower in the bedroom. Would definately stay in Flemings Hotel City Centre again.
Liked everything about Flemings Hotel.

Excellent staff, I had very nice 2 floor studio room, with complimentary spirits in decanters (!!) and soft drinks, and fruit. JBL ipod docking station a nice touch. Spotlessly clean. Even the upstairs bedroom (accessed via a spiral staircase) had its own loo and large plasma TV. Very funky interior design and lighting, with selectable colour, and of course the trademark Flemings glass cube shower.
A minor point I think, but location great for the main station (which I needed), but as a result not the nicest part of town. However the very near U Bahn station whisks you into central Munich in no time.

The room on the fifth floor was spacious and very quiet, great for a restful stay. The MALIN+GOETZ amenities added a luxurious touch, standing out against the more common offerings found in other hotels. The absence of conditioner and body lotion in the rooms was an inconvenience-though reception provided them upon request. Check-in was efficient, but larger common areas would enhance the overall experience.
